Highfield Stores has been standing proud in Gorslas for the past 100 years. First established at the turn of the last century by the Morgan family it
started its early years as a hardware store for the village. After closing in the early 60s it went on to be purchased by Michael and Wendy Terry (my
parents-in law) in the early 80s, starting off selling second hand goods and antiques then moving on to the quality pine furniture myself and my
husband supply today.
We (Tracy and Phil) are very proud of our furniture and strive to offer our customers the best service possible. Our fabulous collections of solid
pine furniture is made to a very high standard with a choice of waxed or painted finishes. We offer free local delivery and we personally deliver
every item ourselves ensuring each piece of furniture arrives to your home safely and in perfect condition. We also offer a bespoke service with all
our pine furniture where all the standard designs can be altered to suit your individual needs. For a free quotation or any queries please contact

Our Cottage Pine Bedroom furniture is made in the traditional
way, dovetail joints, solid pine drawer bases and backs and is
finished off in an antique brown hand waxed finish. We offer
an extensive range to cover every aspect of your needs, failing
that we can also offer a bespoke service. Our combination
wardrobes are a fantastic alternative to fitted wardrobes with
the added benefit of being able to take them with you if you
ever wanted to move home.

Our traditional Farmhouse Pine Dining Tables will bring an
elegant look straight from the countryside, our Farmhouse
Pine Dining Table combines the natural beauty of solid pine
with timeless and classic design. Built to impress, it has been
constructed to the highest standards and has a warm hand
waxed or painted finish that will give this solid pine furniture
long lasting stunning looks. We offer two standard colours,
white and cream, howver we can do any colour required,
please contact us for more information. Available in sizes
ranging from 3ft to 8ft.

How to Buy…
Purchasing
You can place an order with us by phoning us directly in store or visiting the store in person. Payments can be made securely over the phone or via
paypal or BACS.
Delivery
Delivery times will vary depending on stock availability and could range from next day delivery to 1 week for items in stock and between 1 to 6 weeks
for items that need to be ordered.
Once your order is in stock we will contact you with the telephone number provided and make arrangements for delivery. If there is a charge for
delivery, depending on your location we will make arrangements for payment when we book your delivery. For a guide on our delivery charges please
refer to the map below. Goods over the value of £2000 qualify for free delivery in Bands B,C and D. Goods over the value of £3000 quailfy for free
delivery in Bands E and F.
We at Highfield pride ourselves in delivering each piece of furniture to your home ourselves and do not use third hand parties, ensuring each piece is
handled with care. Therefore unfortunately we can not deliver to any areas outside the map below. If you have any quries regarding this please
contact us in store.
Returns
If you would like to cancel your order please do so within 48 hours and we will refund you your money.
if you would like to return your order please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your delivery. In the unikely circumstance that your item is damaged
or faulty we will collect your item for free, however if your would simply like to return your item we will charge te delivery fee relevent to your area.

The stability of pine shelves is such that we can not make
bookcases wider than 36 inches. However we can join any
bookcase shown using one plinth and one cornice to make
wider units.
Extra shelves are also available for our adjustable bookcase
range.

Our acceptance of an order takes place when we receive deposit for the order. When we receive the deposit the purchase contract will be made.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at any time, including, but not limited to, the following circumstances:
(a) Where goods are not available;
(b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) If there has been a pricing or product description error;
A deposit of £50 is required on any orders under £500 and 10% on any orders over £500
Highfield Pine and Oak will not share your contact details with any third party, unless required by law to do so.
3. Pricing
We may alter our prices at any time without prior notification.
4. Accuracy of Dimensions & Colours
All dimensions specified by us are approximate, and based on information supplied by the manufacturer. Where exact dimensions are required,
please contact us prior to order, to confirm exact sizes,
We try to ensure that the colours of products displayed on our website are as accurate as possible. However, we are unable to guarantee the colour
accuracy of the images shown, which can be affected by many conditions, such as lighting and monitor settings etc.
5. Delivery
We offer free local delivery, however there will be a small charge for deliveries outside this area.
We will contact you when your goods are available for delivery to arrange a suitable delivery time and date.
Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to change the agreed time and date, so that we can arrange an alternative. If we cannot gain access to
make a delivery on an agreed date, through no fault of Highfield Pine and Oak or of our carriers, then a re-delivery charge will apply.
6. Cancellation and Returns Policy

If you cancel your order before the goods are dispatched, we will arrange a full refund
If you are not completely satisfied, for whatever reason, with goods purchased from our website, we would be pleased to arrange a refund or
replacement, subject to the following:
a.) You must advise us within 7 days of receipt if you wish to return an item, or an item arrives damaged.
b.) For goods that do not meet the specification stated on the product information page you will be entitled to a full refund or a credit for the same
amount. We will collect the item(s) from your home free of charge.
c.) If your goods arrive and they are damaged, we will collect your item(s) from your home free of charge and issue you with a replacement or refund.
d.) If you wish to return your order for any reason, other than outlined in b & c above, e.g. you no longer want the goods or they do not to fit into the
property, you will be entitled to a refund, provided the goods are returned complete and unused. We will arrange to collect the unwanted items. You
will be liable to pay for the collection costs, which will be deducted from the amount of the refund.
Made to measure items and items modified at the customer’s request cannot be returned, and no refund will be issued, unless the item is faulty.
